Abandoned from a young age for reasons unknown to her, Ashley grew up living in the attic of the historic Grimagrove boarding school in the old town of Næstverri. As an adventurer at heart, she has gained a bit of a reputation as a scheming troublemaker, despite her best intentions to be a good student. After a series of unfortunate events, Ashley discovers her true ancestry when she encounters a magical boy named Koa and his creature companion, Clover.
